Ms. Paul has been with Fifth Third Bank for 22 years. She has been a member of the Legal Department for 15 of those years, and her most recent responsibilities include representing and/or supervising the representation of the Consumer business lines, including Mortgage, Retail, Bank Protection, Consumer Lending, Consumer Operations, Credit Card, IT Sourcing and Marketing in the areas of litigation, policies and procedures, compliance (both federal and state), contract review, daily operational questions, customer complaints and training. She also participates regularly in corporate conversions, mergers and consolidations and representation of the Bank with outside counsel and federal regulators. Currently, her main focuses include implementation of the mortgage rules mandated by Dodd-Frank, state law changes affecting the mortgage world and contested litigation management. Ms. Paul earned her bachelor�s degree in business management from Northern Kentucky University in 1990 and her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1995. Ms. Paul is a member of the Kentucky Bar and Ohio Bar and the Kentucky and Ohio Bar Associations. She previously served for nine years as a council member for the City of Southgate, Ky. and for five years as past president of Southgate Independent School�s parent organization.
