Timothy McKeon

Tim McKeon is an industry veteran with 30 years of experience in banking and municipal finance. During the 1980�s, Tim worked at the Chase Manhattan Bank and the Bank of New York where he focused on LBO's and lending to corporations and investor owned utilities. Tim joined MBIA in the early 1990's and over the following 18 years, he assumed increased levels of responsibility in senior business development, syndication and risk management roles in the public finance sector. Among these roles, Tim managed MBIA's Utility Group, was the Head Underwriter for derivative transactions, and during the credit crunch of 2008-09, he led the company's efforts to restructure billions of dollars of insured Auction Rate Securities, Variable Rate Demand Obligations and related swaps.Tim joined U.S. Bank in July 2010 as Managing Director and heads US Bank�s Government Banking Credit & Liquidity business. His group covers the entire government sector nationwide including the infrastructure, utilities, and tax-backed sectors, and will source, structure, syndicate and document Standby Bond Purchase Agreements, Letters of Credit, Index Floaters and Direct Purchases transactions for valued public sector clients.
