Vlad Torgovnik

Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology and Operations and Home Loans & Insurance Technology Executive

Vlad Torgovnik is the Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology and Operations and Home Loans & Insurance Technology executive for Bank of America.  He leads a team of more than 20,000 associates who serve 60 million consumer households and small businesses, including 14 million home loans customers. His team’s responsibilities range from check processing and cash vault management to technology support for home loans and insurance, deposit and card products, online banking, call centers, 5,900 retail banking centers and 18,000 ATMs.Previously, Torgovnik held several technology leadership roles including chief information officer (CIO) of Home Loans & Insurance, CIO of Global Card Services and CIO of Banc of America Securities.  Torgovnik joined Bank of America as managing director and head of technology for Rates, Global Structured Products and Emerging Markets as part of the Global Markets Group.  Prior to joining the bank, Torgovnik was co-founder, president and chief operating officer of Cygnifi, an affiliated company of JPMorgan Chase.  Additionally, Torgovnik spent eight years at JPMorgan Chase in a variety of roles including global head of Derivatives and Exotics Information Technology.Torgovnik has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from New York University and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in New York City.
