Andersen Global, San Francisco, announced a new presence in Africa through a collaboration with Nexus Business Advisory Limited, Nairobi, Kenya, launching the international association’s presence in East Africa.
GEORGIA
PrimeGlobal, Duluth, released the results of its mid-year membership and revenue growth survey, finding its 296 public accounting member firms in 80 countries had a combined billing volume of over $2.5 billion, as of June 1, 2017. The growth represents a 20 percent billing volume increase over last year.

MICHIGAN
The Michigan Association of CPAs named winners of its annual awards, for professionals who have made a lasting impact in their industry and communities, to be presented Oct. 9. The awards to be presented include: Paul MacDonald, vice president of finance for the Detroit Red Wings, with the Distinguished Achievement Award; Stephanie Bergeron, chief executive officer and president of Bluepoint Partners, with the Public Service and Distinguished Service awards; Paul A. Glantz, president at Proctor Financial, Inc. and Emagine Entertainment Inc., with the Distinguished Service Award; Douglas Bohrer, diversity council chair at Plante Moran, with the Diversity and Inclusion Award; Victoria A. Mundinger, tax manager at Rehmann, with the Emerging Leader Award; and Kimberly Ellison-Taylor, American Institute of CPAs board chair and global accounting strategy director for the financial and professional services industries for Oracle America, with the Outstanding Visionary Award.

MISSOURI
Nationwide, employees of BKD CPAs & Advisors, St. Louis, donated more than $100,000 to relief organizations and to assist Houston coworkers impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The BKD Foundation gave more than $75,000 to four different charitable organizations (matching contributions dollar for dollar up to $40,000 total): The American National Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Fund, United Way Harvey Recovery Fund, Houston Food Bank Harvey Disaster Relief and Convoy of Hope Hurricane Harvey Response. Additionally, BKD employees throughout the firm raised $28,445 for Houston colleagues displaced by the flooding. Firm partners matched contributions dollar for dollar up to $10,000 total.
NEW JERSEY
Rogers & Co., with offices in Los Angeles, Virginia and Vienna, was selected to join accounting firm network CPAsNET, Princeton. The firm was selected based on a number of criteria, including expertise and business acumen.

Boyer & Ritter CPAs and Consultants, Camp Hill, was named a Best Place to Work in PA for 2017 by a partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. The firm was named one of the 100 Best Places to Work in PA after a selection process looking at company policies and employee feedback.
