Cokinos Auditores E Consultores, Sao Paulo, has joined the Latin America region of CPA Associates International as a member firm of the global association.

Brown, Fink, Boyce & Astle, Sacramento, was honored in the Sacramento Business Journal’s 2016 Best Places to Work Awards.

BlackLine, Los Angeles, was named a 2017 Best Place to Work in Los Angeles for the fifth consecutive year, taking the No. 25 spot on the list of large companies (more than 250 employees) at the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

AAFCPAs, Boston, has joined the North America region of PrimeGlobal as a member firm of the global association.

MEXICO

Andersen Global announced the expansion of Andersen Tax & Legal in Mexico to Querétaro, which joins Andersen Tax & Legal’s two other Mexico locations, in Mexico City and Guadalajara. Andersen Tax & Legal in Mexico became a member firm of Andersen Global in June 2015.

PENNSYLVANIA

Four accountants from Dunlap & Associates, Chalfont, who volunteered to run as members of the firm’s team in two community 5K races, medaled in each of the events. The firm sponsored both events. Susan Gibble and Lindsey Stephenson ran in the 2017 Center School Run to Read 5K, where Lindsey placed first in her age group and took home the gold medal. Proceeds from the Run to Read 5K benefit Center School programs that support children who learn differently. Susan Gibble, Adam Malek and Karen Gorski ran in the 25th running of the Chalfont Challenge 5K, where Susan placed first in her age group and took home the gold, and Karen and Adam each placed third in their age groups and took home the bronze. The Chalfont Challenge raises funds for Chalfont’s Park and Trail Development Program.

RUSSIA

BOSY, AO, St. Petersburg, has joined the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of CPA Associates International as a member firm of the global association.
