Sax, Clifton, held its first Founder’s Award, celebrating the work of local nonprofits and awarding one organization, Imagine: A Center for Coping with Loss, with a $15,000 unrestricted gift for best efforts toward sustainability. Sax’s nonprofit practice managed the application process, during which nearly 190 nonprofits submitted essays and/or videos explaining how their organization is perpetuating sustainability or measures they are putting in place to reach sustainability.
The New Jersey Society of CPAs, Roseland, revamped and updated its CPA directory by launching Find-A-CPA, which enables visitors to find a CPA firm tailored to their needs. With findacpa.org, users can search by location, services offered, industries served, size of firm and foreign languages spoken.
