Top 50 Firm Sikich is making the most of its recent $250 million investment from Bain Capital to continue expanding in the Washington, D.C., area, while Platform Business Advisors has added Texas-based firm Hotel Solutions.
Sikich adds Maryland's Saggar & Rosenberg
The Maryland firm primarily provides accounting and consulting services to government contractors, nonprofits, real estate companies and the federal government.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Saggar & Rosenberg has six partners, three principals and eight directors, and one office. Sikich reported 139 partners and over 1,600 total employees for 2023, with 18 offices; it ranked No. 26 on Accounting Today's most recent list of the Top 100 Firms, with $364 million in revenue.

Platform adds Hotel Solutions
Hotel Solutions has worked with hundreds of hotels providing specialized hotel accounting advisory services; the deal will help Platform Advisors expand the industries it serves, including hospitality and food services.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Platform Advisors is part of Platform Accounting Group, a private-equity-backed company that acquires and supports boutique accounting and professional services teams across the country, with more than 30 locally branded firms.
