Andy Kimball was named the new San Diego office managing partner at EY, succeeding Robert Bruning, who will retire on June 30, 2025, after 33 years at the firm.

The California Society of CPAs, Sacramento, launched a new campaign, "CPAs: Making Sense of What Comes Next," meant to build on CalCPA's recent rebranding and promoting the value, role and impact of the modern CPA. (Read the full story.)

Stephanie Bailes was hired as vice president of services, and Tarena Stanley was promoted to vice president of engagement and partnerships, at CPAmerica, Gainesville.

IOWA

Chris Yuska, partner in the audit insurance services practice, was named Des Moines office managing partner at EY, succeeding Kevin Zaugg.

MARYLAND

Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander, Towson, promoted: Dave Myers to chief operating officer; and Vadim Ronzhes, who will continue to serve as a strategic tax director, to general counsel.

MASSACHUSETTS

Todd Ellis, partner in charge of the client accounting services practice, was promoted to partner at Walter Shuffain, Boston.

LMHS, Norwell, joined MGI Worldwide as a member firm.
