The Illinois CPA Society, Chicago, announced it is accepting applications for its 13th annual Mary T. Washington Wylie Internship Preparation Program, which will be held virtually from Jan. 7-9, 2025. The three-day program is designed to prepare students for success and increasing diversity in the accounting profession, and applications are due on Nov. 4, 2024, and can be submitted at www.icpas.org/mtww.

NEW YORK

William Gassel was hired as a partner in the national assurance group at CohnReznick, New York. The International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board announced its 2025 board members; as new board members, appointed for a three-year term of service: Yun Huang, China; Sung-Jin Park, Korea; Karen Sanderson, U.K.; the board members reappointed: Abdullah Al-Mehthil, Saudi Arabia; Claudia Beier, Switzerland; Maik Esser-Müllenbach, Germany; and Claudia Beier of Switzerland was appointed IPSASB deputy chair for 2025.
