David Sullivan was appointed chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, effective Jan. 1, 2026, by the board of trustees of the Financial Accounting Foundation. In other news, the FAF board of trustees announced the search for a new member of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board. The seven-member, part-time board will have an open seat beginning July 1, 2026, when Jeff Previdi completes his second term on June 30, 2026.
