The Top 100 Firm is adding a service line, CohnReznick announced a number of awards, and other news from across the profession.

CALIFORNIA

Cathy Hyodo, market managing partner in the Los Angeles office at Grant Thornton, was named a Los Angeles Business Journal Woman of Influence and Top 100 Accountant for the third consecutive year.

Justin Patellaro was hired as a wealth advisor in the San Ramon office at Eide Bailly.

DELAWARE

Whisman Giordano and Associates, Newark, donated over 1,800 boxes of macaroni and cheese and stuffing and raised $10,559 for the Food Bank of Delaware in advance of Thanksgiving, as part of its 50 Acts of Kindness initiative to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Withum, Princeton, hosted its 13th annual Withum Week of Caring, when firms assisted with food banks, park clean-ups, toy drives, senior centers, 5K runs and more, serving over 80 charities and organizations in 21 regions, and volunteering a total of 4,000 hours.

WASHINGTON

Sheila Herrera

Moss Adams, Seattle, has launched a government contractors practice to help businesses navigate the complexities of working with governments in areas such as aerospace and defense, construction, renewable energy and technology. It will offer a range of services, including Federal Acquisition Regulation compliance consulting, cost accounting standards implementation and support, Defense Contract Audit Agency-compliant accounting systems, indirect rate preparation and analysis, incurred cost submissions and government contract proposal preparation and negotiation, and more. The practice will be led by partners Rich Weber and Sheila Herrera.
