On the move: Moss Adams names first chief talent officer

FLORIDA

Thomas Arseneau

Thomas Arseneau, managing director at Centri Business Consulting, was named the firm's Tampa Bay market leader.

INDIANA

McGuire Sponsel opened a new regional office in Phoenix.

KANSAS

Ben Wilson was named the new managing partner and CEO at Adams Brown, Wichita, succeeding Brian Staats, who led the firm for 10 years and will assume a role building the firm's family office service model. Wilson joined the firm in 2009 and has held numerous leadership roles, most recently serving as vice president.

MASSACHUSETTS

Kevin Akeroyd was appointed chief executive officer at Sovos, Boston.

MICHIGAN

Rod Taylor

Maner Costerisan, Lansing, launched a new municipality consulting services line, led by Rod Taylor, who also operates as the firm's senior governmental consultant.

Joshua Garvey was appointed Grand Rapids managing shareholder at Beene Garter, an affiliate of Doeren Mayhew.

OHIO

Cohen & Co. elected to partner, in Cleveland: Julie Lowry in assurance and Angel Rice and Krista Zuchowski in tax; in Akron: Robert Venables in tax; and in Pittsburgh: Kaitlin Mansfield in assurance.

PENNSYLVANIA

Joana Singh

Joana Singh was hired as a manager in the audit services group at RKL, Exton.

Lauren Fenner, senior manager at Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz, Camp Hill, was named a Luminary Award Shining Star nominee finalist by the West Shore Chamber of Commerce, which recognizes businesswomen for their outstanding character, commitment, professional achievement, stellar performance and attitude.

TENNESSEE

HHM CPAs, Chattanooga, hired: Amber Blevins as an audit manager, Ben Allen as a manager; Crimson Rose, Matthew Shepherd, Joel Sauve and Michael Vance as staff accountants; and Danielle Brock as a dealership specialist in the Memphis office.
