The Deloitte Foundation, New York, is collaborating with Ohio State University to create a need-based scholarship fund to support diverse students pursuing professional services careers at the university’s Max M. Fisher College of Business. A total of $180,000 was raised through contributions from Deloitte professionals and Deloitte Foundation matching gifts, and will provide tuition support for Master of Accounting students as well as programmatic support for the college’s Project THRIVE.

Dixon Hughes Goodman, Charlotte, announced it raised more than $160,000 to fund scholarships in partnership with the National Association of Black Accountants. The DHG LIFT Scholarship will provide two to three students annually with a $10,000 scholarship, with the first two recipients announced June 23 and awarded to students Dania Espinal from the College of New Jersey and Michael Idaewor from the University of Georgia.
