ALABAMA

David Bier

David Bier was promoted to partner at Anglin Reichmann Armstrong, Huntsville, where he serves as chief operating officer.

Tracey Strickland was promoted to director of tax resolution, and Tim Pierce to CFO and value growth services consultant, at Machen McChesney, Auburn.

Kassouf, Birmingham, launched an app to provide clients with the ability to scan documents, manage receipts and pay bills online.

Meepos & Co., Marina Del Rey, joined accounting association CPAmerica.

CONNECTICUT

Amado Rodriguez

Amado Rodriguez was hired as manager of the client accounting services group at CironeFriedberg, Shelton.

Liz McGrath

Liz McGrath, Oleg Beloglazov, Gary Curtis, Laura Schulte and Jason Soman were hired as associate directors at Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors + CPAs, Miami.

Matt Stout

Matt Stout was named managing partner of the Fort Wayne and Pittsburgh offices at BKD CPAs & Advisors, effective June 1, 2022, succeeding Wally Wetherill, who will retire at the end of May 2022.

Oreste Mosca, managing director at Nathan Wechsler & Co., Concord, was reelected to the Amoskeag Health board of directors, where he has served since February 2018.

Jacqueline Engelsman

Jacqueline Engelsman was hired as director of marketing and business development at RRBB Accountants and Advisors, Somerset.

Leon Grassi was hired as the chief marketing officer and head of business development at Sax, Parsippany.

NEW YORK

CBIZ Marks Paneth, New York, promoted to managing director: Anthony DelValle and Rafael Vasquez in the real estate group; Michael Jones and Georgia Stamelos in the commercial business group; and Jennifer Prendamano in the tax services group.

The Bonadio Group, Rochester, rebranded its consulting and advisory practices as Bonadio Advisory, providing consulting services to public and private businesses, nonprofit agencies, health care organizations and government entities.

Michael Saccomanno was appointed partner-in-charge of the forensic accounting, litigation support and valuation services practice at Friedman, New York.

NORTH DAKOTA

Eide Bailly, Fargo, was named a 2022 Campus Forward Award winner, recognizing the top early career teams and programs in the nation for excellence in early career hiring, by RippleMatch.

OREGON

Shea Keats

PENNSYLVANIA

TEXAS

Weaver, Houston, promoted to regional partners-in-charge of the tax practice: Laura Roman, covering Austin, Midland, Sant Antonio and Houston; and Rob Myatt in Dallas, Fort Worth and Oklahoma City.

BKD CPAs & Advisors launched nonprofit advisory services in the firm’s Houston office, adding Ann William as a director and Geri Griffin as a managing consultant.

VIRGINIA
