MISSOURI

David Killion, principal in the transaction advisory and litigation support practice at Brown Smith Wallace, St. Louis, earned his Certified Exit Planning Advisor certification.

NEW JERSEY

Zuzana Harvis, senior business process manager at Lassus Wherley, a subsidiary of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, earned the Project Management Professional credential from the Project Management Institute.

NEW YORK

Joseph Maffia, partner at Janover, New York, will be installed as a vice president of the board of directors for the New York State Society of CPAs, for a one-year term beginning June 1. The installation will be held at a dinner event May 29 at The University Club in New York City.

PENNSYLVANIA

Joseph Witkowski (pictured) was named the chief financial officer at Herbein + Co., Reading, becoming the third CFO in the firm’s history, effective Oct. 1, and succeeding John Pagerly. Witkowski joined the firm in 1992.

Yenma Herb was hired as a marketing manager at RKL, Lancaster. Also, in the firm’s human resources department, RKL hired Rachel Grubbs as the talent acquisitions manager and Adam White as the talent development manager, as well as promoting Nicole Jankowski to human resources manager.

Lindsay Semich Andrews was appointed partner in the audit and assurance services practice at Louis Plung & Co., Pittsburgh.

TEXAS

Chris Grasher was hired as the Dallas tax market leader at Dixon Hughes Goodman.

WASHINGTON

Brad Edwards was hired as a managing director in the corporate value consulting practice within transaction services at Grant Thornton, Seattle.
