Dennis Lemieux, director of operations at Top 100 Firm BerryDunn, has been elected president of the Association of Accounting Administration. 

For the last six years, Lemieux served on the association’s board of directors. His term as president will run from July 1, 2012, until June 30, 2013. 

Lemieux’s has an extensive amount of managerial experience, including 10 years of city management in the states of Maine and Pennsylvania. He also worked with numerous law firms throughout Maine, developed strategic plans for governance and coaching managing partners and administrators on implementation strategy, management models and approaches, and general business practices. 

The AAA, which provides education, career advice, and communication for accounting professionals, was established in 1984, and has approximately 900 members in the U.S. and Canada.
