AccuFund Adds Support for SQL Server

AccuFund has released the latest version of its accounting software for nonprofit, municipal and government organizations, with new features that provide support for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and enhancements to various modules.

Version 4.01 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite now supports Microsoft SQL Server as well as Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere, enabling AccuFund to be used at larger government and nonprofit agencies.

AccuFund has also significantly enhanced its Representative Payee software. The Client Accounting, Fixed Assets and Allocations modules in the Accounting Suite have been added to Representative Payee, allowing users to generate banking transactions such as interest, make deposits from multiple client accounts at the same time, hold deposited funds until checks have cleared and add more demographics to client profiles. Security has been enhanced in Representative Payee to allow organizations to separate clients by region, area or office.

Other modules receiving major enhancements include Purchasing, Web Pay and Employee Time Entry. With the Purchasing module, users can now make blanket purchase orders and indicate or change the vendor to be paid at the point of invoice entry. Change orders can also now be entered for existing Purchase Orders.

The Web Pay module now allows users to process online credit card payments for utility bills and court fines while also meeting PCI compliance requirements. With the Employee Time Entry module, organizations' employees can enter their clock-in and clock-out times for specific tasks during the daily time entry.

Version 4.01 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite also features enhancements to the core product and several other key modules, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Receipts, Client Accounting, Loan Tracking, Payroll, and Utility Billing. Version 4.01 also offers the ability to distribute standard and financial reports to identified lists via email.

The AccuFund Accounting Suite Version 4.01 is available in both Standard and Professional editions. Pricing begins at $2,995 and $6,595, respectively.
