Acumatica announces acquisition, new integrations

Cloud ERP provider Acumatica announced the acquisition of IBS Imperium, a property management system, as well as a number of new integrations and other developments.

Originally built on the Acumatica platform, IBS Imperium is a financial management and reporting suite that lets developers, owner-operators and property managers better manage all aspects of their business.

Acumatica expects the acquisition to help drive growth for its Acumatica Construction Edition.

“IBS Imperium was built on the Acumatica Cloud xRP platform and has been available to our customers since late 2018 as an ISV solution in our marketplace,” said Acumatica CEO Jon Roskill in a keynote at the company’s annual summit, being held this week in Las Vegas. “This is an important addition to our product offering as real estate property management is a large and growing sub-vertical where we intend to compete even more successfully.”

Acumatica also revealed some new integrations: one with Autodesk that makes it easier to track costs and planning documents in construction projects; a connector with UiPath to help users apply robotic process automation to eliminate repetitive tasks; and the Selling Partner API, which lets merchants who sell through Fulfilled by Amazon or Fulfilled by Merchant integrate with Amazon to retrieve orders as they happen and keep inventory levels up to date.

Acumatica also announced a partnership with Adobe to offer the latter’s eSign capability and PDF Annotator in a single bundle.

As part of the Summit, the company previewed its upcoming 2022 R1 feature release, which will included an enhanced user experience, and its Global Financials Module.

Finally, the company gave out two awards, naming Green Bay Packaging its Customer of the Year, and Cornell Cooperative Extension its Impact Customer of the Year.

“We are thrilled to be recognized as Acumatica’s Customer of the Year,” said Green Bay Packaging CFO Robert Kim in a statement. “We are a family-owned, vertically integrated manufacturing company with 17 business units, committed to the pursuit of sustainable environmental stewardship. Acumatica’s modern, agile platform ensures we can focus on safety, sustainability, quality, and continuous improvement throughout all of our facilities.”

“Our sincere thanks to Acumatica for naming Cornell Cooperative Extension its Impact Customer of the Year,” said Cornell Cooperative Extension director Christopher Watkins in a statement. “We help residents in 56 New York counties raise children, save energy and money, grow and prepare food, sustain and grow farms and businesses, and protect the environment. Acumatica’s mobile platform enables us to access data from any location and at any time so our operations can continue smoothly.”
