Adaptive Insights unveils analytics, time modeling upgrades at user conference

Adaptive Insights, which makes cloud-based corporate performance management software, has added upgrades to its core software suite including customizable visual analytics and configurable time modeling. The announcement was made at Adaptive Live 2017, the company’s user conference held this year in San Francisco from May 30 - June 2.

The upgraded software suite, dubbed Adaptive Suite 2017.2, provides visual analytics that accountants can use to create personalized, interactive dashboards. These can include actuals, plans, forecasts, assumptions and drill-through. The new time modeling functionality is designed to let users model their calendars as they choose, including and beyond 12 months.

Adaptive Insights has also launched a software industry initiative to provide an integrated planning and analytics product to software finance executives.

“Software finance teams tell us that navigating change is their biggest challenge,” said Tom Bogan, CEO of Adaptive Insights. “A company’s best strategy in this environment is to adopt an active planning process that enables rapid scenario planning and course-correction. When we combine that with a best-practice model for accurate topline planning, KPI management, and benchmarks, we’re able to empower software companies with a turnkey solution to better manage their business in what is, often, a rapidly changing industry.”
