Adaptive Insights Updates FP&A Suite

Cloud performance management provider Adaptive Insights announced enhancements to its Adaptive Suite to improve the financial planning and analysis process.

With the latest release of the Adaptive Suite, finance teams can bring together different data sources for business insights. The release provides self-service data integration for finance, new data visualization in the planning process, and the ability to conduct in-depth visual analytics during planning with one click in a familiar Excel user interface.

Adaptive Insights extended its Adaptive Integration platform across the Adaptive Suite, including Adaptive Planning, Consolidation and Discovery. Using Adaptive’s self-service data integration platform, customers can extract data from ERP and CRM systems like NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce.com and Intacct using a “click-not-code” web interface to use in any Adaptive Insights application.

The new release also has a sparklines feature, small charts of trend analysis that can be expanded and dragged and dropped into plans and forecasts.

Adaptive Insights’ Excel-based reporting capabilities have also been expanded in the new release, enabling users to view their plans and performance data in Excel with access to the web-based interface.

“We live in an ever-changing, data-driven world where constant access to timely, accurate financial data—combined with sales and operational data—is key to driving maximum corporate performance,” stated Connie DeWitt, senior vice president of product management at Adaptive Insights. “By delivering a self-service data integration platform, we have empowered finance teams and other business users to access data that has often been siloed across the organization. Further, by bringing analytics into planning, we enable users to deeply analyze data during the planning process, and make informed decisions without ever having to leave the planning environment—dramatically accelerating decision-making and business agility.”
