ADP Expands Payroll Alliance with SAP

Roseland, N.J. (May 13, 2004) -- Outsourced payroll services provider ADP Inc. has expanded an alliance it has with SAP AG in the Asia-Pacific region to include large-scale companies worldwide.

The two companies have had a joint business process outsourcing solution offering across the Asia-Pacific region since 2001.

The expanded partnership enables customers to offer payroll and human resource business process outsourcing services that are built on the mySAP enterprise resource planning Human Capital Management product and SAP NetWeaver -- SAP's open integration and application platform.

"Broadening our agreement with SAP will help us to meet the demands of the growing market for outsourced global payroll and human resources solutions," Gary Butler, ADP president and chief operating officer, said in a statement. "Based on this experience, we have garnered key insights and developed best practices which will allow us to further leverage SAP's technology to effectively extend this model for our customers in other regions."

General availability of the expanded ADP services on the SAP platform will begin with their introduction into the European market in fall 2004. ADP and SAP will include their Asia-Pacific joint offering as part of the expanded BPO offering.

ADP's payroll and HR outsourcing services are being offered by ADP Employer Services.
