Advisory Board Launches Live Talk Radio Webinar Series

The Advisory Board  has launched a new interactive webinar series,  “Live Talk Radio, Presented by Winning Is Everything,”   for accounting firms.

Using the talk radio format, participants are encouraged to ask questions, make comments and interact live with guests.  The first Live Talk Radio show is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25, 1:00pm Eastern Time featuring Tom Hood, executive director and CEO of the Maryland State Society of CPAs.  Invitations will be sent on Monday June 17, 2013.

“We are using familiar webinar technology, and the familiar talk radio format to bring something completely new to the profession,” Advisory Board CEOO Lisa Benson said in a statement. “We are giving our participants the opportunity to ask question and interact live, real time with our guests.”

Live Talk Radio, Presented by Winning Is Everything, will feature guests with different areas of expertise, and cover current topics and issues from around the profession. The weekly show will begin with guest introduction and interview and then open for participants to ask questions and interact live with the guests.

The Advisory Board is a partnership of prominent accounting firm consultants Gary Boomer of Boomer Consulting, Allan Koltin of Koltin Consulting, Rebecca Ryan of Next Generation Consulting and Gary Shamis of SS&G Financial Services, Inc., who together offers a multidisciplinary approach to CPA firm practice management, including strategic management, marketing, technology and organizational consulting services. Their Winning Is Everything conference will be held Jan 16-17, 2014.

“Winning Is Everything is the premier practice management conference, and it only makes sense to extend that conference experience beyond those two days in January,” Benson said in a statement. “The Live Talk Radio show allows us to bring even more thought leaders and experts to our audience, and more importantly it gives our audience live access to these experts.  Participants call in with questions, get answers and ask follow up questions.”
