AICPA Debuts Online Accountant's Business Manual

The American Institute of CPAs has introduced ABMonline, the Web version of the Accountant's Business Manual.

ABMonline provides reference and search options for 26 business, legal, tax and finance topics. It includes a hyperlinked version of the text with the ability to search from every page, an expandable table of contents, and downloadable tools and materials. The system describes background, solutions and recent developments in various practice areas.

Sidney Kess and Barbara Weltman are joining the list of authors of ABMonline. Kess has written hundreds of books on tax, financial and estate planning, and appeared in AICPA tax workshops, audio and video programs. He is chairman of the advisory board of Tax Hotline, a member of the PPC Tax Action Panel, and the recipient of the AICPA's Distinguished Lecturer Award and Special Recognition Award.

Weltman is a top-selling business author who is a member of the Small Business Advocate Brain Trust; serves as the small business tax expert for Staples.com; and serves on the advisory boards for the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council, WE-Inc., and Boardroom's Bottom Line/Personal, Tax Hotline and Bottom Line Retirement.

ABMonline is available through the AICPA's Web portal, www.cpa2biz.com, for $159 for AICPA members and $198.75 for non-members.
