The American Institute of CPAs, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, and the Retirement Security Project have joined the nonprofit Alliance for Investor Education.
The 21-member Alliance for Investor Education provides investors with access to a full range of information they need to make wise investment decisions.
The AICPA, especially through its financial literacy campaigns, has advocated for an educated, well-informed investor, said Carl George, chair of the AIPCAs National CPA Financial Literacy Commission. The Institute and the Alliance clearly share a common mission to achieve a goal that is critical to a robust capital market system.
