AICPA Picks Hall of Fame Winners

The American Institute of CPAs has inducted three new members into the AICPA Business and Industry Hall of Fame.

Winners of the ninth annual event, sponsored by Ajilon Finance, include Arthur V. Neis, former vice president, treasurer and CFO of LCS Holdings in Des Moines, Iowa. He served on the AICPA Private Company Task Force and is a member of the International Accounting Standards Board's Small and Medium Sized Company Reporting Standards Working Group. Neis is also an arts advocate and patron.

Another winner, James W. Noyce, is CEO and former CFO of FBL Financial Group in West Des Moines, Iowa. He has written about financial integrity and compliance success and serves on the boards of his local Boy Scouts, United Way and Special Olympics organizations.

Peggy Scott, executive vice president of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, used to work for Deloitte & Touche, where she was the first woman at the firm to become a managing partner. She has been a board member of the LSU Dean's Advisory Council, the Superdome, Blood Center, Junior Achievement, the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce and Camp Fire.
