AICPA Releases Draft of Nonprofit Accounting Guide

The Financial Reporting Executive Committee of the American Institute of CPAs has issued a working draft of the accounting content of a proposed Audit and Accounting Guide on not-for-profits.

The proposed guide covers many of the new issues that have emerged in the nonprofit sector. The draft does not, however, include general and specific auditing considerations, analytical procedures, internal control considerations, or reporting.
