Ajilon, AICPA Call for Nominations for Business & Industry Hall of Fame

Ajilon Finance and the American Institute of CPAs are seeking nominees for the 7th annual AICPA Business & Industry Hall of Fame Awards program.

According to the institute, Hall of Fame candidates should be CPA financial professionals who model the objectivity and ethical commitments of the CPA profession; create value by managing technology and resources; lead by example and commitment; provide vision using knowledge of broad business issues; understand the profession beyond the numbers; effectively manage shareholder and customer expectations; champion new methods and solutions; and inspire and motivate others to excellence.

Nominations must consist of a completed nomination form and a letter of recommendation from either the nominee's state CPA society or an AICPA or state CPA society member. The nominee's current curriculum vitae should also be submitted. Where appropriate, applications should also include a letter of recommendation from the candidate's employer. The procedure for re-nominations from past years is the same as that for new nominees; updated materials must be submitted for consideration in the current year.

Nominations may be made online at www.aicpa.org/halloffame or at www.ajilonfinance.com. The deadline is Aug. 31.

The induction ceremony will take place at this year's AICPA Fall Business & Industry Financial Executive Forum in New York on Oct. 28.
