App of the Week

The Stickyboard 2 app essentially converts iPads to sharable whiteboards with “sticky notes,” most commonly used in meeting and boardroom situations.

The notes can be color-coded, movable and editable throughout the board. Stickyboard 2 users can double-tap to add a note; select and drag notes; draw free-form with a marker tool, with highlighter included; and email boards as PDF files or text to share with colleagues or archive changes. In addition, Stickyboard  2 offers Magic Arrange, a built-in technology that allows users to select a bunch of notes, then swipe with three fingers to instantly arrange them into neat piles, or fan them out into a grid, columns, or rows.

While the app offers simplicity in its initial functions, users are finding it to have a multitude of uses and is quickly gaining popularity in the App Store as it is free, though it does require iOS 4.3 or later.
