San Ramon, California-based accounting firm and value-added reseller Armanino has established a risk assurance and advisory services practice.

The new service line will offer risk and compliance solutions, including SOC 1, 2 and 3 audit compliance, ISO 27001, internal audit, SOX 404 and HITRUST certification. Its strategic advisory capability includes business continuity, cybersecurity and privacy services, and enterprise risk management.

Todd Bishop has joined the practice as managing director. He brings nearly two decades of experience in compliance, internal audit and IT assurance to the firm. Prior to joining Armanino, he led Gap Inc.’s SOX 404 financial program, was chief audit executive at Dolby Laboratories and spent over a decade at PwC. Bishop has a bachelor’s degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
