Armanino and Thomson Reuters partner to help SMB tax clients

Top 100 firm Armanino has partnered with Thomson Reuters to provide the company’s sales and use tax content and technology to the firm’s small and midsized business clients.

Thomson Reuters’ ONESOURCE content and technology with Armanino’s team of experts versed in sales and use tax complexities faced by clients doing business in multiple jurisdictions, this partnership is aimed at solving the go-to-market problems for SMBs. The tech provider and firm's expertise together is hoped to provide a more hands-on, tailored approach to each client’s specific business situation.

Thomson Reuters’ ONESOURCE Indirect Tax is a cloud-based tax software solution that plugs into a customer’s point of sale system and provides automation across tax and finance workflows from determination through final remittance and compliance.

Armanino certified as B Corporation

Separately, Armanino recently achieved certification as a B Corporation, meeting the private certification’s requirements for social and environmental performance.

In addition to passing a rigorous assessment, B Corporations amend their legal governing documents to require their board of directors to balance profit and purpose. In a survey of more than 200 questions, Armanino reports it achieved perfect scores in categories including management of diversity, equity and inclusion, managing the value and impact created for clients, charitable giving and community investment policies, workplace flexibility, professional development and internal promotions.
