New York (Oct. 4, 2002) -- Aspen Publishers Inc., a provider of legal and business information and division of Wolters Kluwer North America, has acquired the securities publishing division of Bowne & Co. Inc.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
Aspen said the deal strengthens its securities, accounting and legal product lines, and adds the Securities Act Handbook and the Rules and Regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Red Box") to its list of securities and corporate governance publications.
