AWFA releases public directory of finance pro members

The Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance released a public directory of accounting and finance professionals featuring more than 200, mostly women, organization members. AFWA members include CPAs and certified financial planners from a range of industries and business sizes.

AWFA is offering its Find a Pro Directory as a resource for business owners and individuals seeking financial services such as bookkeeping, tax preparation and filing, audit, and retirement planning.

“I’ve always known our members to be strong, intelligent, professionals, who I could rely on for guide and insight. I’m excited for others to have the opportunity to now utilize AFWA as a resource for connecting businesses and individuals with accounting and financial partners,” stated AFWA national president Lori Kelley.
AWFA is expecting to grow the directory in the coming months.

“At AFWA headquarters, we receive a surprising number of inquiries from individuals and business owners not looking for just any accountant or finance professional, but specifically a female professional. Woman business owners especially, say they feel more comfortable working with another woman,” stated AFWA executive director Ericka Harney.

The Find a Pro Directory, and more information about the resource, is available here.
