New York (Dec. 1, 2003) -- Financial services conglomerate AXA Financial appointed Laura Pantaleo senior vice president and head of business development for its strategic distribution services unit.
In her new role, she will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships with AXA distribution partners including broker/dealers, wirehouses, banks and mutual fund families.
She begins officially Jan. 2.
She most recently served as president and chief executive of the annuity distributors business for Travelers Life & Annuity.
She also spent 10 years at Smith Barney, where she was a senior vice president of the company’s estate and trust services division.
