BDO International Growth Up 17 Percent

The BDO International network announced its global revenues for the fiscal year ending September 2006 increased to $3.9 billion in U.S. dollars, an increase of 17 percent from last year.

In 2005, the network’s revenues totaled 3.3 billion, an increase of 16 percent over the previous year.

In July, BDO Seidman LLP, the firm based in the United States, announced that its revenues for the fiscal year ended June 30 increased to $558 million, a 27 percent increase over 2004's revenue of $440 million.

BDO International now comprises 621 member firm offices -- including the addition of firms in Suriname and El Salvador in 2006 -- with total member firm staff of almost 30,000. BDO also said that it saw consistent performance across every region, with 95 out of 107 countries reporting growth and nearly three-quarter of those countries seeing revenues increase more than 10 percent.
