Deborah J. Levinson has joined Top 100 New York-based CPA and advisory firm Berdon LLP as a partner and chief operating officer.
Prior to joining the firm, Levinson was an executive vice president and chief financial officer at real estate developer Forest City Ratner. Earlier in her career, she managed the audit and assurance practice of the New York Real Estate Group at Ernst & Young, and before that was the first woman partner in the New York office of CPA firm Kenneth Leventhal & Co.
"In her 30-plus-year career, Deborah has distinguished herself in accounting, management and financial roles, and this diverse expertise will all come into play as we move forward with our strategic growth plans," said Berdon managing partner Stanley H. Freundlich.
Levinson holds a BBA in Accounting from Baruch College, and attended the Executive Program at Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management.
