St. Petersburg, Fla. (Sept. 7, 2004) -- Best Software announced the availability of Carpe Diem Electronic Time Sheet 4.5.
The latest release offers expanded functionality to increase customization and improve usability for multiple-location businesses and multinational companies, including streamlined processes for managing multiple calendars and activities across time zones, according to the company.
For timekeepers working in multiple geographic locations, CDWeb (Carpe Diem Web) will now automatically recognize and support time zone and regional settings on local workstations, making it easier to track time entries across time zones and locations.
In addition, the system manager can now customize multiple calendars, each with its own list of holidays, first day of the workweek setting, and fiscal year-end setting for each timekeeper in companies with several locations. Timekeepers working in different locations or countries can access a single Carpe Diem site and CDWeb server extension to enter time and expense entries, streamlining the process of collecting entries for multiple business units that observe different calendar constants.
