Atlanta (July 30, 2004) — Best Software has unveiled the latest version of its time and billing solution, Timeslips 2005.

The newest release features two-way integration with Microsoft Outlook. A button embedded in Outlook enables users to turn time spent on tasks, meetings, appointments, and e-mail messages into billable entries. Users can also create e-mails, tasks, meetings and appointments from within Timeslips with one click and automatically populate the information viewed within Timeslips into the applicable fields in the Outlook item being created. Users can also synchronize contact information stored in both programs.

Improvements include a redesigned bill tool that provides one-click access to design mode from the bill preview, displaying a full bill on screen with drag-and-drop customization and a new back-dated accounts receivable report lists the A/R balance of any client at any period in time. In addition, users can enter time directly into the Time Sheet interface in one step, and fill in details, such as task and client, later.

Timeslips 2005 costs $399.99. The Multi-user Value Pack, for up to five users, retails for $699.99. Both products come with 30 days of free technical support and a 30-day, full money-back guarantee for first time customers.
