BlackLine CEO Awarded for Achievements in London

Therese Tucker, CEO of software provider BlackLine Systems, was honored at the 2014 FSTech Awards in London Thursday with the Barry Holland Memorial Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement.

The award recognized the Los Angeles-based company founder for her accomplishments in building BlackLine as an enterprise-class financial software provider.

BlackLine, which uses a software-as-a-service platform to complement existing enterprise performance management, governance risk and compliance and enterprise resource planning systems, was also shortlisted in three additional categories. Those categories, which highlighted BlackLine’s flagship Financial Close Suite, were: Cloud Computing Innovation of the Year, Online Technology Provider of the Year and Best Use of IT in Insurance.

The annual awards, hosted by FSTech (formerly Financial Sector Technology) magazine and sponsored by BT, Atos and China Telecom, recognize innovation and excellence in information technology in the financial services fields in the United Kingdom and Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

BlackLine opened offices in London in 2012 and has U.K. clients that include British Gas, Camelot UK Lotteries, QBE Management Services UK and Tate & Lyle. The company’s award entries highlighted work with insurance company and Europe-based financial services provider Achmea.
