BlackLine Rolls Out Integrated Connector Strategy Program

Financial software company BlackLine Systems introduced a new strategic program that provides connectivity to 50 different source systems and applies BlackLine’s rules automation engines and analytics to finance and accounting operational processes.

The Integrated Connector Strategy program will provide out-of-the-box, ready-to-use connectors for all commonly used enterprise resource planning systems, including Oracle Fusion, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, Microsoft, Lawson, JD Edwards and Infinium, in addition to the connectors BlackLine already provides for clients extracting data from SAP and NetSuite.

Designed to streamline the implementation process for new clients, the ICS also navigates the changing IT landscape for current clients.

“An out-of-the-box connector dramatically speeds up our clients’ implementations, minimizing both risk and cost,” stated BlackLine Systems CEO and founder Therese Tucker.  “In today’s business world, software vendors don’t have great credibility. Our connectors allow potential clients to quickly validate BlackLine’s claims of value, ease-of-use and hard ROI.”

As part of the rollout, BlackLine is working with select beta clients to prove our functional capabilities like data transformations with configurable calculations and lookups, with plans to roll out the new connectors on a phased basis beginning with the first available at the end of 2014.

“Many of our clients upload close to a half million accounts into BlackLine on a daily basis,” stated Tucker.  “It’s important that our connectors can perform for a wide variety of ERP volumes and configurations.”
