Bloomberg BNA Enhances Tax & Accounting Search

Bloomberg BNA released new search enhancements on the Bloomberg BNA Tax & Accounting Center, giving tax practitioners the ability to directly access key tax topics, tax summaries of key jurisdictions and the IRS code sections with fewer clicks.

The enhancements, Links and Pages, offer an integrated shortcut to Bloomberg BNA content, analysis and insights, including its Tax Management Portfolios, streamlining the research process through direct links to keyword definitions, related analysis, primary sources and practice tools and explanations.

Links, developed by Bloomberg BNA’s in-house tax experts and with input from practitioners, appears alongside search results with links to relevant content on the Tax and Accounting Center. Pages have expanded explanations and highlight critical aspects of a specific tax topic being researched, providing definitions, components, eligibility, examples, advantages and disadvantages.

“Tax practitioners from across the globe continue to tell us that they need to access specific tax information quickly and efficiently,” said Lisa Fitzpatrick, Bloomberg BNA vice president and group publisher for Tax & Accounting.  “Our focus in developing Links and Pages is to direct tax professionals as quickly as possible to the specific piece of intelligence they need to guide their clients while dramatically reducing their time spent searching.”

More information can be found by taking a trial of the U.S. Income Portfolios Library to try out the search enhancements.
