BPM LLP, a Top 100 Firm based in San Francisco, has expanded its footprint to Southern California by adding Kramer & Olsen Accountancy Corporation.
As part of the deal, all 14 of Kramer & Olsen’s employees will be joining BPM’s workforce of approximately 470 employees and 40 partners. They will be staying at their current location in Santa Ana, California, but will operate under the BPM name. Kramer & Olsen managing partner David Jorgensen will join BPM as partner and will continue serving as managing partner of BPM’s new Orange County office. Kramer & Olsen founding partner Gary Kramer will join BPM as “of counsel.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Revenue figures this year for Kramer & Olsen are $3.3 million and $94 million for BPM. BPM ranked 50th on Accounting Today’s 2018 list of the Top 100 Firms.
“We are thrilled to welcome our new Kramer & Olsen colleagues,” said BPM CEO Jim Wallace in a statement. “Kramer & Olsen’s commitment to client service excellence aligns perfectly with our BPM1 service model – together the combined firm will bring enhanced career opportunities to our people and greater access to services for our clients.”
Kramer & Olsen will enable BPM to expand into Southern California. BPM has six offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, along with offices in India, Oregon, Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands and now Orange County. The firm was formerly known as Burr Pilger Mayer.
“BPM’s brand promise, ‘Because People Matter,’ is what drew us to the firm,” said Jorgensen. “BPM’s strong go-to-market industry concentration and specialized advisory service offerings, combined with our deep roots in Southern California, allows us to serve clients in an extraordinary way – both domestically and internationally.”
