BrainSell Buys Sage Practice from K-Four

Sage North America partner BrainSell Technologies has purchased Holliston, Mass.-based partner K-Four Systems for an undisclosed amount.

K-Four Systems has been a Sage partner since their formation in 2010. With the addition of K-Four Systems, BrainSell will have 11 offices in Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Colorado, Minnesota and Utah.

K-Four Systems focuses on Sage 100 support and integration and also implements and trains clients on Sage ERP systems. BrainSell also represents products from SugarCRM, Swiftpage and Acumatica.

"BrainSell is not only gaining valuable Sage resources with this acquisition, but we are further expanding our management consulting services for our new and existing customers,” said BrainSell president and chief executive Jim Ward. “Avron Katz, president of K-Four, isn’t just a resource he’s an institution of knowledge in technology, business process and accounting principles with a CPA background. Avron will be a key leader in BrainSell’s growing small to mid-market management consulting practice.”

In April, top Sage partner Blytheco sold its Sage 300 ERP practice to BrainSell Technologies, which took over the business and its 35-customer base with Blytheco still engaged in some marketing and BrainSell conducting sales and implementation.
