Caldwell & Co., P.C., a CPA and business advisory firm based in Bethesda, Md., has merged in C.J. Becker & Associates Chartered, P.C., effective immediately.
The union creates a 23-person firm with expertise in such client niches as not-for-profit, professional consulting, legal, technology, hospitality, construction, real estate, and government contracting.
Going forward, the firm will operate under the Caldwell & Co. brand.
Our practices were a close match, as we both offered a diversified platform of services to help small businesses and individuals with their accounting, tax, estate, and financial planning needs in addition to other strong consulting services to help grow our clients businesses, said Bill Caldwell, president of Caldwell & Co.
Terms of the transaction, which was facilitated by M&A consultant Accounting Transition Advisors, were not disclosed.
