Riverwoods, Ill. (June 1, 2004) -- In response to customer demand, CCH Tax and Accounting has added a Client Write-Up module to its ProSystem fx Office suite of tax and accounting software.
“We had many customers ask for integrated client write-up and we looked to acquire but found nothing to meet our requirements. So, the ProSystem fx Write-Up was developed from the ground up,” said Sue Torgerson, segment manager for CCH Tax and Accounting.
ProSystem fx Write-up uses technology including .Net, MSDE and the latest grid controls to allow flexibility in viewing and mining data to ensure seamless integration with other modules in the ProSystem fx Office suite, specifically Tax, Engagement and Trial Balance.
Users will be able to import data to establish companies, customers and vendors, to sort columns and control how they enter data. Data mining, financial wizards, live payroll, after-the-fact payroll, and accounts receivable and accounts payable modules will be available in future releases.
The first version of the Client Write-Up module will be available in September. Pricing hasn't been finalized.
