CCH Adds More Audit Guidance to ARM

CCH has expanded the audit modules in its Accounting Research Manager database with expert guidance on topics such as construction and not-for-profit accounting.

“Construction Guide: Accounting and Knowledge-Based Audits” and “Knowledge-Based Audits of Not-for-Profit Organizations with Single Audits” are two analytical works with insight that rounds out the checklists and practice tools already available on ARM for these subjects. Each guide includes coverage of the relevant technical literature, combined with advice based on real-world experience.

“The Guides go beyond general principles and get into the nitty-gritty of topics such as exactly how to account for contributions in nonprofits,” said CCH product manager Rachel Mavrak in a statement. “These expert insights can increase accuracy and save professionals valuable time.”
