CCH Debuts New Corporate Tax Software

CCH has introduced CorpSystem, a new line of software for corporate professionals who do tax and accounting work.

CorpSystem includes sales and use tax software that integrates with a company's workflow needs. Initially, the company is simply re-branding its CCH Sales & Use Tax products to introduce the new CorpSystem line. But CorpSystem will later expand to include new products, such as CorpSystem Sales Tax Office and a corporate-branded version of ProSystem fx Fixed Assets.

"It's a new brand of software and workflow targeted to the in-house corporate accounting and tax professional," said Kate Foss, segment manager for the corporate market with CCH.

Eventually, CorpSystem will cover a variety of corporate tax functions, including tax rate and taxability research, tax calculations, end-of-month liability determinations, returns preparation, remittance and electronic filing, and exemption certificate management.

CorpSystem integrates with various general ledger packages, Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning systems. Users can upload CCH-researched tax rates into an ERP system and set up sales and tax details for every customer. The Sales Tax Load Utility integrates tax rates into Microsoft Dynamics GP, AX and SL, as well as Sage MAS 500/200/90 and Sage Accpac ERP.

Foss noted that the new brand will be supported by dedicated customer service, sales and support teams, a new phone number for sales and customer service, and a new Web site, www.cchgroup.com/corpsystem. A new customer service support site will be available in November.
