CCH has improved the search and navigation features in its IntelliConnect tax and accounting research service.
Enhancements include greater overall speed, and the ability to apply multiple filters to a single search and to quickly collapse the browse tree and shortcuts to adjoining documents.
Users will now have the ability to cross-filter or apply multiple filters simultaneously using all of the filters available to them. For example, they can narrow their search results by selecting a specific document type, tax type or menu level on a library and a specific jurisdiction at the same time.
A new Collapse All function allows researchers to collapse all of the topically arranged menu levels they have opened so they can restart their research from a different beginning point or enter a new search.
A Nearby Documents function enables researchers to view the next and previous documents in the publication as if they were reading the document in a book, without leaving the search results list. Similarly, buttons now allow researchers to move directly to the next and previous documents on the search results list, without having to go back to the list itself.
