CCH has added a state tax citation capability to its state tax research products.
The company said it would include CCH State Tax Citator with subscriptions to its CCH State Tax Reporters service.
"With increasingly aggressive state tax audits and stringent requirements for FIN 48 documentation, it's vital for professionals to verify that cited tax authorities still have valid precedent," said CCH product manager Angela Darrow.
State Tax Citator provides cases, rulings and decisions along with summaries, the judicial history of each case and a record of citations listing later decisions in which it has been discussed.
Users can access the information in three ways: when the case is open on the screen, when they already know the citation of the case or when they know the name of the case.
