CCH SFS and NATP Expand Benefits for Tax Pros

CCH Small Firm Services and the National Association of Tax Professionals have expanded the benefits they are offering to tax and accounting professionals from their partnership.

The partnership includes discounts on new NATP memberships for SFS customers and provides special offers on SFS software for NATP members.

“We formed this partnership to provide tax and accounting professionals with leading resources that enhance their knowledge and productivity” said CCH Small Firm Services product manager Kerri Gibson, CPA, in a statement. “NATP has a very active and diverse member-base that shares several commonalities with SFS customers. This partnership allows us to combine our individual strengths to ultimately benefit our customers” she added.

The partnership between the two organizations comes during a time of major changes for members of the tax profession. “Today tax professionals face many challenges,” said NATP director of marketing and communications Susan Lucius. “There are new requirements such as the Registered Tax Return Preparer exam and continuing education credits, plus the standard issues of staying up-to-date with tax changes and technology trends. It can be overwhelming.”

Despite these challenges, both Gibson and Lucius agree that tax professionals can still maintain a successful practice and greatly benefit from the new partnership. “At CCH Small Firm Services, we are dedicated to our customers’ success and see this same dedication at NATP” said Gibson. “This partnership is just another way we work to help our customers thrive in a changing industry.”
