CCH Teams with AICPA on College Textbooks

CCH has signed a deal with the American Institute of CPAs to sell and distribute AICPA publications to the undergraduate and graduate college market.

“This partnership with CCH will expand the reach of the AICPA into the nation’s accounting curriculum,” said AICPA vice president Robert Bouchard in a statement.

Under the agreement, CCH will initially sell and distribute 10 AICPA works: AICPA Professional Standards; AICPA Codification of Statements on Auditing Standards; PCAOB Standards and Related Rules; Corporate Ethics for Financial Managers; Financial Reporting Fraud; Income Reconstruction; Guide to Financial Statement Analysis; Understanding Business Valuation; Tax Research Techniques; and U.S. Tax Aspects of Doing Business Abroad.

The material covers areas such as ethics, fraud, forensic accounting, valuation and international tax. For more information, visit www.cchgroup.com/textbooks.

Separately, CCH announced last week that the Internal Revenue Service would continue using its electronic tax research materials under recently awarded contracts. CCH has supplied the IRS with tax research materials for over 15 years.
